Limewash is a traditional, sustainable, eco-friendly finish for lime plastered surfaces. For this application limewash tinted with locally mined Yellow Ochre was used to paint the porch of a Seventeenth Century Merchant's house. The original front door and new door frame were treated with linseed oil.
