We were proud to be asked to re-decorate Edward 1st’s Bedchamber in St Thomas’s Tower at HM Tower of London. This project, researched and designed by staff from Historic Royal Palaces, involved a rich scheme of hand-painted Medieval style fictive blockwork painted in distemper on a limewash substrate and embellished with stencilling, as well as heraldic decoration executed in linseed oil paints, enriched with gilding – a room truly fit for a Medieval Monarch
